Big Walk at night: a dark bushland ridge under a starry sky, with a small firelit clearing and figures gathered around it in the distance (May 2025 build)

About This Big Walk Wiki

What this site is, where every fact on it comes from, and the rule that decides what does not get published here.

bigwalk.info is an independent, unofficial fan resource for Big Walk, the cooperative online walker-talker developed by House House and published by Panic. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or compensated by House House, Panic, or any related entity.

The site is organised around the decisions a group has to make before and during a session, because that is where Big Walk actually asks something of players — not around a wiki-shaped list of everything that exists.

How we source and credit material

Every fact here comes from one of four places, and each page says which:

  1. House House’s own material — the official site, the FAQ at bigwalk.game/faq, and the press kit fact sheet.
  2. Storefront records — the Steam store listing (including its raw product data), the Nintendo eShop listing, and the PlayStation Store listing.
  3. The game’s own strings — specifically the twelve Steam achievements and their global unlock rates, which are first-party text shipped with the game.
  4. Professional press coverage, cited by name and linked, for anything the studio has not published directly.

Every image on this site is official Big Walk marketing material from the House House press kit, downloaded and rehosted on our own infrastructure with the source recorded for each asset. We do not hotlink images from the official site or from other fan wikis.

Live figures — unlock rates, prices, review scores, Steam recommendation counts — carry a verification date at the bottom of the page they appear on. Big Walk released on 4 August 2026, so several of these numbers are still moving.

What we deliberately do not publish

The rule this site runs on: a name has to have a published source before it becomes a page here.

That has visible consequences. Several other Big Walk wikis publish forty-plus area pages with names like opt-tele-ridge and five-mile-valley-green-diffuser, and item lists including holsters, gourds, key pieces and signal flags. None of those names appear in the press kit, the store listings, the official FAQ, or any achievement string. They may be real. They cannot be verified, corrected, or attributed — and a URL is a claim, not a guess.

So this site publishes nine tools instead of twenty, seven landmarks instead of forty-two, and states the gap rather than filling it. Where House House have said something, it is here with a source. Where they have not, the page says so.

Where we reason from confirmed mechanics to a practical conclusion — for example, that a scout should carry a walkie-talkie — the page marks it as reasoning rather than presenting it as a published behaviour.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, out of date, or House House have published something we have missed, tell us. This site is actively maintained and Big Walk is a live release, so both the game’s data and its coverage are still changing.

Contact details are on the contact page. For support with the game itself — bugs, purchases, account problems — go to House House at help@bigwalk.game rather than to us; we cannot help with any of it.
